So my little brother is on a mission in Sweden. Last week he just had transfers and got a new companion. This guy has 4 weeks left and is apparently quite the guy. My brother couldn't even try to explain him so he sent us a link to you tube to help out.
This video is my bros new companion opening up his mission call. It is of him and his roommate. They are both from Finland so they are speaking Finnish, which I don't know about you, but I have a pretty hard time understanding it. But really... no need to understand what they are saying. You can get a pretty good idea just from their actions and yelling.

Opportunities
Just for fun, these pics are just to recap my fabulous 2008. I had so many fun opportunities in 2008, it was an absolute blast!
Over Thanksgiving break, I had the opportunity to go down to Tijuana, Mexico on a humanitarian service trip. I went with my Aunt and Uncle and their family along with about 75 other people. We stayed in a stake center and slept on the stage (others slept in the classrooms). We were able to build a couple homes for a few families as well as other little projects for some of the members in need. I can honestly say that this was the most memorable week of my life and by far the best week!
We had a huge Harris Family Reunion during the summer at a ranch/resort just above Zion National Park. There were over 100 family members there and it was so much fun!
At the reunion, I got to paint ball for the very first time! Wow... I'll be honest... I never got hit so I don't know how much they truly do hurt. But the only reason for that is because I hid behind certain things every round and then sometimes got brave enough to shoot. Otherwise I occupied my time shooting bushes or other random objects out there. It was fun though!
Yup that's right. That's Marci and me with Justin Guarini (runner-up for Kelly Clarkson season 1 of American Idol). Marci, Kristi, Dane and I went down to L.A. for a taping of American Idol. It was pretty awesome! We also met Paula Abdul, Mandisa (season 4) and Ramielle (season 6). I highly recommend making it down to L.A. for a taping. So much fun!
My little brother left for his mission... He is in Sweden and has almost been out a year (March 26)!

Obsessed
Sarah is one of my friends from a previous ward. And let me tell you... this girl knows how to work it when in front of the camera. There were so many photos to choose from for this post because she was so natural while in front of the camera. Because of that, you wouldn't even know it was about 1000 degrees below zero that day. Here are some of my favorite images from her shoot.

Tweens
For my little sisters friends birthday, she gave her a "photo session" with me. So over Christmas break, we went out and got some cute shots of each of them. It was also great for me to get more work to add to my portfolio. These are some of our favorite shots from the day!

I've caved...
I'll be honest. When I first heard about blogs, I wasn't a huge fan and thought they were pretty weird. Then, friends started telling me to check out their blogs. So I did and found them kind of interesting. THEN I discovered something spectacular... photographers with blogs. These I love and seem to take up quite a bit of my time. So I've caved and am starting my own blog. Hope you enjoy!
