Watch - out - Texas
Sarah received her mission call to Texas so get ready for some awesome Missionary Pictures! We will be shooting them next week, so check back then!
Today I was going through some images from a long time ago. I started playing with some that I didn't like in color and changed them to B&W. I love love LOVE this image. I have had some images of Cari on here before from a year ago when we shot her Bridals. Thanks again Cari for having me do your Bridals!
(Today, I also FINALLY figured out how to make my images bigger without them being pixelated. SO I had to upload a photo to try it out!) |

Grace + Abe Reception
Here is my favorite image from the reception. I'm not sure why, but the colors aren't showing up as they really are. So that is something else I need to learn more about on blogger. ANYways... my camera was left in St. George for 2 whole weeks, and that is why I have not been blogging for a while. The memory card that had their images from the reception was still in my camera bag, so I just barely got to see them all last night! I'm so happy with how they turned out!
“Laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life”
I've never reallly gotten into Comics. I don't know why. But these 2 that I saw recently kind of stuck out to me because I could somewhat relate to them.
The first one not only do I think is funny, but I find it some-what facinating. I used to think it was so funny growing up to hear my parents say that when they were my age they never would've thought some of the technologies would ever guess could happen. Now, that was the last 10-15 years I've heard them say that. And I would just laugh because I didn't really understand what they meant in the real sense of the statement. But now, technology is getting even crazier. Now you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own bedroom/computer to make new friends and socialize e-style (although I do not suggest being a hermit like this...). It's just so interesting to see how things have evolved, even in my lifetime. It scares me to think of what is to come in the next 10-15 years. This comic kind of relates to this and I thought it was funny.
This next one is dedicated to my previous place of employment. For those of you who knew me last summer, you know what I am referring to (hint... box of contacts, love affairs (definitley not me) and computer crashes). It was an interesting experience, one from which I learned a lot from. If you want the whole story, which is quite comical now looking back, just ask. The comic stirp doesn't really portray my experience, it just reminded me of it.

I need help...
So I am still blog-disabled... I don't know how to do many things on it and it's very frustrating. SO... I was wondering if anyone knew how to make pictures bigger when posting them. I've seen many people do it. The only way I know how is to drag it out once you've uploaded it, but then mine go all blurry and they are even large files. I've tried different file types, but still no results.
Does anyone have a solution to my crisis???
If so... PLEASE help me...

Grace + Abe continued...
another little treat...
One of my new favorite things to do is follow photography blogs. I find them so fascinating. Maybe due to the fact that I love photography and can't get enough of it. The only down side to looking at all these photo blogs, is that I keep being reminded of all the equipment that I DON'T have and would LIKE to have. However, I still am and forever (it seems like) will be a poor college student. So until I get a real job and can afford my Nikon D3X (roughly $8,000) or Nikon D3 (only $5,000), I will live vicariously through other photographers equipment by following their blogs and dreaming of what will come in my future.
What are some of these blogs I love, you ask?
I think that is enough for now. You should really check these blogs/sites out. They all have really great tips, whether it's actual tips or just inspiration from viewing their work. If you like photography AT ALL... you will love!

Grace + Abe
Before they met, Abe had always said he'd never date a nanny. Grace had always said she'd never date someone from Washington (long story...) Well, Grace is a nanny, and Abe is from Washington - so of course it was going to work out perfectly. Grace and Abe met out in New York. Grace went out east to be a Nanny, and Abe (from Washington) was attending West Point Military Academy. They attended the same singles ward, which to Abe's 'delight' had several Nanny's attending. Grace however caught his eye and the rest is history!
Grace and Abe were married yesterday in the SLC Temple. When I was driving up to SLC, it was raining so I was somewhat worried about how the pictures were going to turn out. However, by the time I got there, it was not raining. In fact, it was so hot we were all cursing the heat (nicely of course).
This is just a short preview of what is to come of their pictures.
Grace and Abe truly make a perfect couple and I am SO happy for them!
